Ryan ran his first 10K when he was 8 years old and continued his passion on to become an NCAA Division 1 Scholar Athlete. Ryan has a bachelors and masters degree in the fitness industry and is a certified group coach.

Nick is a nasm certified personal trainer specializing in strength and conditioning as well as body building styles of training. His goal is to get you as strong as possible and help you look and feel great while doing it. He believes that no matter what is going on in your life, good or bad, you can always get into the gym and put more weight on the bar than you did last week or do more reps than you've ever done before. There is always room for growth.

Mike Chirchirillo

Mike has been part of the Brew Fitness Community as an instructor/member for some time now and is eager to continue to support the members on a larger scale. The lay-out and equipment of Brew Fitness is the perfect match for Mike’s high-energy style that combines strength training, cardio, core, balance and yoga to make sure no two total body workouts are the same.

The worlds of fitness, personal training, positive psychology and mindfulness have all melded together to provide Mike a unique approach to support others’ individual goals regardless of where they’re are at in their process. He believes that we all have an athlete and competitor in us and all it takes is a change in mentality to unleash it.

Jessica Itano

Yoga Instructor

Jess found her yoga practice over 10 years ago at a local gym in her area. It wasn’t until 2015 that she started her yoga teacher training journey. Since then, she has become a 200hr Registered Yoga Teacher teaching bikram, vinyasa, yin, and sculpt style classes. Jess continues her practice-both as a student and a teacher- by taking classes regularly and participating in continuing education. In any of her classes, you can expect to balance your mind and body while having fun and feeling free to practice at your own pace. After all, yoga isn’t just a physical practice, it’s a lifestyle, so practice what you need!


Kate Hawthorne

Yoga Instructor

Kate started lightly practicing yoga several years ago but in early 2013 felt a call to
really explore the full practice.

Kate completed her 200hr certification under Debbie
Williamson of Wild Abundant Life in June 2014 and is also certified as a Yoga
Personal Trainer. Kate has taught over 1,500 classes and is continually changing
and evolving as she strives to bring awareness to the mind-body connection through
breath work and intention setting.

When not teaching or practicing yoga, kate loves
to run, go to concerts, and hang out with her husband and dog.


Patti Henry

Patti Has always been a fitness enthusiast focused on hiking, running and biking. When her oldest of three left for college she thought it was a good time to explore something new. In 2016 Patti received her RYT 200 certification and is a member of Yoga Alliance. Patti started teaching right away and loves every minute!

Each week Patti writes a new class with a specific intention. Combining flow along with static and restorative poses. she strives to challenge her students physically and mentally leaving them with a feeling of peace.


Alex Gerbers

Alex is a graduate of St. Norbert College and has been engrossed by physical fitness and health since he was 14 years old when he first became introduced to weight lifting. He believes true health is a long term decision that can be acquired with the combined efforts of physical activity, body maintenance, mental wellness, and proper nutrition. Outside of fitness, he enjoys kickboxing, Jiu jitsu, mountain biking and anything outdoors.


Matt Gajewski

Personal Trainer/Group Coach

Matt is a graduate of UW Madison and has worked within the industry for over three years. He helps you make the most of your workout by providing a constant source of motivation along the way. Outside of fitness, he enjoys rollerblading, writing, and everything sports.


Anne Grzywa

Yoga Instructor

Anne’s practice is about taking both the challenges and the peace found on the mat and translating it off the mat. Her classes will bring awareness to the physical and subtle body through a playful flow!

Anne received her 200hr training through Sadhana Yoga school in Costa Rica in 2016 and has been teaching ever since! An engineer by day and yoga teacher by night, she’ll tell you “it’s all about balance!”


Lindsay Peltin

Yoga Instructor

Lindsay started practicing yoga about 7 years ago when her body and mind craved the movement, expression, and exercise she lost when she stopped dancing. Since then, yoga has become much more than a hobby, but a way to stay present and mindful on and off the mat.

Lindsay's curiosity and infatuation with yoga led her to complete a 200 hour training in 2018. She is thrilled to be able to continue to learn, grow and share her love of movement and mindfulness with the Milwaukee community.


Kayleigh Avello

Yoga+Pilates Instructor

Kayleigh first started taking PiYo classes in 2016 while in graduate school. She fell in love with the balance of pilates and yoga moves paired with energetic music to create dynamic sequences. After only 6 months of taking PiYo classes, Kayleigh decided to become a certified instructor in order to share her passion for PiYo with others. She loves how the format allows you to feel confident and have fun while offering a unique balance of strength, endurance and flexibility training, all in one class.

While Kayleigh works full time as a genetic counselor, she loves teaching group fitness classes and working out with others. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, biking, reading, spending time with her pets and exploring local restaurants.


Oliver & Mia

Everything is better with a dog :)

Mia was the original Brew Fitness Gym Dog until 2018 when Brew Fitness hosted “Puppy Yoga” for mia’s birthday party. raising money for a local dog rescue and featuring adoptable dogs… that’s when she met oliver, who had just arrived at the rescue after living the first 8 months of his life in a shelter. she asked for a puppy brother as her birthday present and how can you say no to that face?

Together they love coming to the gym to watch the members workout and get all the pets and belly rubs.
